Review Policies

We value your contributions and encourage you to share your comments/reviews. We also want to make sure that Massage School Reviews is a safe and trustworthy source for massage school, massage career and massage profession information. To help us with this goal, we ask that you abide by  following rules for reviews:

By submitting a review on our site, you are representing that all information contained in your review is original and accurate in all respects, and that the submission of such content by you and the posting of such content by Massage School Reviews does not and will not violate the rights of any third party.  Please keep your reviews constructive and relevant to the school you actually attended.

Your review should be truthful and constitute your own personal opinion and experience with the massage school. While I don’t take sides when it comes to factual disputes, I expect you to create a respectful review even for bad experiences.  You may be asked to stand behind your statement and show proof of your experience by the massage school itself.

To maintain a safe, family-friendly environment, we don’t allow profanity or vulgarities on our site. We will remove content that contains sexually explicit comments, prejudiced language, threats, or personal insults. Any content that describes or depicts first-hand participation in or advocates for illegal activities will be removed.

The reviews approved and posted on Massage School Reviews are individual and highly subjective opinions. The opinions expressed in reviews are those of Massage School Review users and not of Massage School Reviews/Julie Onofrio/Pine Woods Publishing LLC.

We love it when companies encourage your current and past students to share honest reviews on, but please do not offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We will remove positive reviews where we have evidence that people were compensated and/or coerced into leaving a review.

We allow reviews that name individuals in the highest positions in a company who have broad influence over the school, as long as the review describes the individual’s behavior or performance at work and is not a personal attack on the school or individual. Individuals in this category include those who are the public face of the company (C-Suite, Executive Director, President, Owner, Founder, etc.) We believe this information is generally representative of a company’s culture and can be informative to job candidates.

We do not allow reviews that include negative comments about identifiable individuals outside of this group.

We don’t approve reviews that include certain profanities, threats of violence, or discriminatory language targeted at an individual or group. We may allow reviews that mention race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation and the like if we believe the comment is used to describe a school situation. General discussions of school misconduct are allowed, including most discussions of illegal activities, discrimination, and sexual harassment.

To safeguard privacy, we do not allow you to identify yourself or include any contact information (about yourself or others) in your posts.

Massage School Reviews is about sharing information that helps the entire community and massage therapy profession. We reject reviews that do not relate to a school. We will reject any content meant as an advertisement or containing a web link.

All reviews should be original – no substantial quoted material from other sources, including (but not limited to) websites, e-mail correspondence, other reviews, etc.

Your writing doesn’t have to be perfect, but we need to be able to understand it. We reject reviews for excessive capitalization or filler words/characters. And remember, your review will be more credible if you use good grammar, spelling and punctuation.
